<p>PURPOSE:To separate and to select heterocellular fused cells, by noticing that the specific gravity of the heterocellular fused cell is the intermediate value of those of parent protoplasts and separating the heterocellular fused cell by noncontinuous density gradient centrifugal separation method. CONSTITUTION:Protoplast of two plants having different specific gravity are subjected to noncontinuous density-gradient centrifugal separation, respectively, and parts having uniform specific gravity among the separated protoplasts are selected and taken out. Then, the parts are fused by electric fusing method. Consequently, selective separation of fused cell can be carried out in a short time and efficiently. Then a fused cell having a specific gravity which is corresponding to the intermediate value of those of parent protoplasts is selectively separated from the fused solution by noncontinuous density-gradient centrifugal separation method.</p> |
