<p>PURPOSE:To provide a zeolite granular powder capable of producing a large amount of a high concn. oxygen per unit hr by binding an aluminosilicate zeolite powder which is substituted Na ion with Ca ion, with an aluminum sol. CONSTITUTION:The zeolite having a substitution ratio with Ca ion of about 70-100% is produced by dipping the zeolite such as the sodium A type zeolite, etc., with an aqueous solution of calcium chloride, etc., and by repeating said dipping treatment plural times. The obtd. zeolite powders are fed to a kneader, followed by adding the alumina sol, kneading and forming it by a pelletizer. And, subsequently, the obtd. zeolite is dried, calcined and formed to a pelletized formed product. The amount of the alumina sol is preferably about 2-15% on the weight dry basis of the zeolite, expressed in terms of Al2O3 solid matter. The obtd. zeolite is suitable for separation and concentration of oxygen in the air.</p> |
