PURPOSE:To attain the safe loading/unloading of a cassette in any direction by defining three positions where a cassette loading cover is set in a record/reproduction mode, where the cassette which could not be inserted is tentatively fixed at the inserting position and where a mechanism is actuated to push the cassette out up to a position where the cassette is easily taken outside. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette cover 2 is released with operation of a release button, both the cover 2 and a cassette holder 12 are opened by a spring 1. A cassette 3 is hooked by a tentative fixing member 27 and never comes out in any position of the main body of a cassette loading device. When the cover 2 is opened more, a plate 587 is held up to open the holder 12 against a spring 59. A hook part 24 at the opposite side to the holder 12 engages a part 250 of the main body at a bent part 24a. Thus a cassette ejection member 20 is released, and the cassette 3 is ejected against the restricting force of the member 27. In this case, a shutter 6 is closed by a shutter closing member 15 and in accordance with ejection of the cassette 3. Under such conditions, the cassette 3 is set in a free state and can be manually taken out. |
