PURPOSE:To obtain a cyan color toner having a good spectral reflection characteristic by incorporating a carboxybenzamide methyl copper phthalocyanine metal salt compd. into a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The toner contains the binder resin and the carboxybenzamide methyl copper phthalocyanine metal salt compd. as the essential components. The compd. expressed by formula I is used for the carboxybenzamide methyl copper phthalocyanine metal salt compd. (substd. phthanocyanine compd.). In formula, n denotes 1-5, more preferably 2-3 integer, Me denotes the metal atom selected from Ca, Ba and Mg. The carboxybenzamide methyl group which is a substituent is bonded to four benzene rings possessed by copper phthalocyanine skeleton in the form of being substd. with the hydrogen on the benzene rings. |
