PURPOSE:To improve the dispersibility of a carbon black and an initial image characteristic or the image characteristic after continuous copying tests by using the carbon black having 40-300mmu particle size. CONSTITUTION:This toner is produced by a suspension polymn. method to be executed by dispersing a polymn. soln. contg. the carbon black having 40-300mmu number average particle size and polymerizable monomer into a liquid suspension medium which is substantially not compatible with the polymerizable monomer. A stage for melting and kneading the binder polymer and stage for cooling and grinding the same are exempted and the process for producing the toner is simplified. Since the toner is the spherical toner uniformly dispersed with the carbon black, the toner excels in the various characteristics for image formation, for example, preservable property, durability, image characteristic, etc. |
