<p>PURPOSE:To attain a high speed action by providing a means which allows a means setting a memory access cycle to the time shorter than the memory access cycle of an external memory and a means setting it to the same time as the memory access cycle of the external memory to operate selectively. CONSTITUTION:The computer is provided with not only a means to set the memory access cycle of a built-in memory to the time shorter than the memory access cycle of the external memory, a means to set it to the same time as the memory access cycle of the external memory, but also a selecting means to operate selectively two these means. Consequently, even when the built-in memory is accessed, the memory access cycle of the built-in memory can be set to the same time as the memory access cycle of the external memory by operating the selecting means. Thus, when the access of the external memory is necessary and a real time processing is necessary, the simultaneity of the program execution when the built-in memory is accessed and the program execution at the time of using the external memory can be secured and the high speed action can be attained.</p> |
