PURPOSE:To momently visually recognize the image of a graph to be described and easily change already designated graph parameter information with key depression by conversationally receiving graph parameter information of each graph constituting element. CONSTITUTION:An input means 101 displays a graph parameter information input prompt message on a picture display device 106 to prompt a user to input graph parameter information. When the response from the user is received through the input means 101, a graph segment is generated by a graph segment generating means 103 and is stored in a segment storage area 105 if the validity is within an allowable range, but the user is prompted again to input graph parameter information if it is on the outside of the allowable range. When the graph segment is generated by the graph segment generating means 103 and is stored in the segment storage area 105, plotting data is generated through a graph plotting means 104 and is displayed on the picture display device 106. This processing is repeated until individual graph constituting elements are described. |
