PURPOSE:To reduce the amplitude of ringing elements in scanning period, by connecting between both terminals of high voltage winding of a flyback transformer a circuit block where diodes are connected in series to a circuit connected in parallel by capacitors and resistances. CONSTITUTION:A DC high voltage generating device is composed of an exciting transformer T1, a flyback transformer T2, a horizontal deflection output transformer X, a damper diode D, a resonance capacitor C a horizontal deflection coil L h, etc. Output pulses from a high-voltage winding N2 of the abovementioned flyback transformer T2 are supplied to a diploid pressure rectification circuit 4, which is composed of diodes D1-D4, capacitors C1-C2, etc. as shown in figure. Thus, diodes D2 and D3 are conducted by flyback pulses, and in the scanning period diodes D1, D4 and D a are conducting to set up the voltage as required.
