The low current conduit comprises an electrical single conductor in an insulating casing which has a hollow space with an inner diameter equal to the sum of the diameter of the single conductor and its corresponding connecting lead. This allows the latter to be inserted in the casing together with the conductor. The single conductor has an excessive length in the over-dimensioned hollow space of the casing, and its diameter is a maximum of 0.1 mm. The structure provides for reduced conductor capacitance, advantageous in connection of pulse and RF circuits in development workshops and schools. Where a permanent connection is required, conductive adhesive is injected into the casing hollow space before the connecting lead is inserted. (Provisional Basic advised week 83/47) |
