发明名称 UNITARY CONTROL DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION AND ENGINE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve reliability in control of converting engine torque at speed changing by changing a speed change parameter to such a value as to ensure durability of a frictionally engaging device when a failure occurs in transfer means provided between engine control means and automatic transmission control means. CONSTITUTION:There are individually provided engine control means 7 receiving various output signals from a sensor for detecting engine conditions, switches and others to determine fuel injection rate and ignition timing and an automatic transmission control means 8 for selecting a gear corresponding to the vehicle speed, opening degree of an accelerator and others. The engine control means 7 receives torque converting amount signal from the automatic transmission control means 8 through various transfer means, so that engine torque is converted for changing of speed. If any failure in the transfer means is detected by a failure detecting means, the speed change parameter in the automatic transmission control means 8 is controlled to be changed to such a value as to ensure durability of frictionally engaging device in the automatic transmission 2.
