PURPOSE:To damp hunting vibrations without increasing rotor load by detecting the state of operation of a rotor as an electric signal and feeding back the signal to exciting currents. CONSTITUTION:The rotational speed component of a rotor 8 is detected from output voltage from windings SA, SB for detection juxtaposed to excitation windings LA, LB and output voltage from differentiating circuits 10, 13 for the exciting currents of the excitation windings LA, LB. The detecting outputs are fed back to the excitation windings at the oppositely faced positions of a stator; that is, the detecting output on the excitation winding LA is fed back negatively to the excitation winding LB and the detecting output on the excitation winding LB side to the excitation winding LA respectively. |
