The hot water system has a tank with a coil in the top of a partitioning tube. The system also includes an air vent valve, inlet and outlet pipes connected to a central heating boiler with associated expansion vessel. The tank (1) is divided into two compartments by a vertical partitioning tube (2). The tank has a top mounted air vent valve (7) and automatic mixer valve (5) connected to a hot water discharge line (6). The tank has an inlet (8) and outlet (9), connected to a central heating boiler (12) with associated expansion vessel (13). Radiators may be connected between the main inlet pipe (16) and outlet pipe (17).
