PURPOSE:To obtain the metal fine wire excellent in the surface shape, of high quality and excellent in the continuity by sealing the nozzle for spinning jetting a molten metal and the molten metal jetting steam with the fair current of the inert gas of the specific flow velocity. CONSTITUTION:A molten metal 3 is jetted from the nozzle 1 for spinning into the medium for cooling and a metal fine wire is obtd. by solidifying the jet steam of the molten metal inside of the cooling medium. In this case, the flow velocity of the inert gas sealing the nozzle port 2 for spinning and jet stream of the molten metal by the fair current is taken at 10-1,500cm/sec. The shape of the flowout part of the inert gas is approached to the similar shape of the tip shape of the nozzle 1 for spinning and formed so that the inert gas may flow in fair current to the molten metal jet stream. In this way, the metal fine wire excellent in the surface shape, small in the yarn evenness, of high quality and excellent in the continuity is obtd. |
