<p>PURPOSE:To enable the shape control abundant in the flexibility corresponding to the rolling conditions by combining the two coolant system provided with the adjuster of variable flow amount ratio respectively and plural coolant nozzles provided with a flow amount adjustor. CONSTITUTION:The coolant nozzles 5 in (n) pieces are arranged on the full length of a work roll 2 and the shape detector 7 having the detecting unit divided into (n) pieces and detecting the rolling material 1 corresponding to the respective arranged position is arranged at the outlet side of the rolling mill. The coolant system has an A group coolant 3 and B group coolant 3' of two systems and the respective group has flow amount adjustor 4, 4'. The flow amount ratio of the coolant system and selection of the system are decided by a coolant system selection and flow amount ratio deciding circuit prior to the start of the rolling fundamentally by the preinputted rolling conditions (steel kind, plate thickness, rolling speed and the kind of coolant oil). In this way, the coolant amount jetted on the roll surface can optionally be selected and a delicate shape control is enabled.</p> |
