PURPOSE:To facilitate the process of the terminals of a decorative body and obtain a product with good surface appearance, by a method wherein the loose ends of a decorative body are integrated with the main body of a molded form together with a frame body in a condition that said loose ends are fixed to the frame body in order to embed them into the main body of the molded form. CONSTITUTION:The loose ends of the periphery of a decorative body 5, such as a cloth or the like which is formed into a predetermined configuration, are wound around the frame body 11 of a predetermined configuration, which is constituted of a wire of the like, and are sewed at a position 12 to fix and extend the decorative body 5, thereafter, the frame body with the decorative body is inserted into the recess of the cavity of a movable mold 4 by fixing it forcibly. Subsequently, a fixed mold 3 and the movable mold 4 are closed and molten thermoplastic synthetic resin 6 is introduced into the cavity through a sprue 2. The molten synthetic resin 6 spreads fully into the cavity and the cavity is filled with the resin 6 whereby a synthetic resin product, in which the decorative body 5 is integrated with the surface of the main body 7 of the molded form of the resin 6 and the loose ends of the decorative body 5 are embedded into the main body 7 of the molded form, may be molded. The loose ends of the decorative body 5 are embedded while enveloping the frame body in such a manner, whereby the ends of the decorative body 5 will never appear to the outside of the main body 7 of the molded form, the process of the terminal ends may be ensured and facilitated and wrinkles will never be generated on the surface thereof. |
