<p>PURPOSE:To obtain fine adjustment of a limit value, by fixing an elastic clamping member, into which a rotor shaft is fitted, in a sealant via a fluid chamber and adjusting the pressure in the fluid chamber by means of a turning angle comparator for the driven- and driving-shafts in addition to a pressure adjusting device. CONSTITUTION:An elastic clamping member 8 is fixed in a sealing member 6, which serves as a pulley for a timing belt 10, via a fluid chamber 7, while a driven shaft 9 is fitted to the clamping member 8. On the other hand, a side plate 16, a flange part 12, the sealant 6, and a retaining member 17 are fixed into one body by means of bolts 18, while a fluid supplying/discharging port 15 and a fluid chamber 7 are connected to each other at a passage in the retaining member 17. In addition, encoders are provided to both driving- and driven-shafts, both of which are connected by the timing belt 10, and the outputs from the encoders are input into a comparator. Then, the turning angles of both shafts are compared by the comparator, and the pressure in the fluid chamber 7 is adjusted. Accordingly, fine adjustment of the torque limit value can be made through the fluid pressure. Thus, the sharpness of the limiter is improved, while the size of the limiter can be reduced.</p> |
