<p>PURPOSE:To obtain accurate torque at a low cost and in a stable manner, by supporting the middle part and the end part of a semi-cylindrical surface of a detecting spring by an end-face of an oval hole of a flange and an end-face of a long groove of a cover, respectively, and arranging a rolling on an inclined surface of a slope part of a detecting ring in such a manner that the ball can freely roll. CONSTITUTION:Three pieces of long grooves 14 and an oval hole 24 are provided to an annular part 12 of an input cover 11 and to a flange 23 of an output hub 21 in the circumferential direction respectively. In addition, three pieces of detecting springs 31, each of which has a semi-cylindrical surface 32 and faces to each other in the circumferential direction, are supported by both long grooves 14 and oval hole 24. A detecting spring 37 is fitted to a projection 34, while a rolling ball 42 is interposed between a ball receiving hole 40 of a ball holder 33 of the input cover 11 and a slope surface 48 of a detecting ring 45, which is inclined in the circumferential direction. Both normal value and over-load limiting value for both spring constant of the detecting spring 37 and depth of a recess 48 are set in accordance with the slope of the slope-surface 48. Accordingly, since the detecting spring 37 suffers no interference, the torque value becomes stable, and the captioned limiter can be manufactured at a low cost and with accuracy.</p> |
