PURPOSE:To form at a low cost and easily a lubricating film having a uniform film thickness by filling the inside of a disk storing chamber with a vapor of a lubricant for forming a lubricating film, in a state that a magnetic disk is installed to a rotation driving mechanism of a magnetic disk device and rotated, and sticking and forming the lubricating film to the surface of the magnetic disk. CONSTITUTION:When a magnetic disk unit 1 is rotated, for instance, by 3000rpm for 30-60min by driving a rotation driving mechanism 6, a temperature in a disk containing chamber 5 rises to about 50 deg.C (when the atmospheric temperature is 30-35 deg.C) by a windage loss of a magnetic disk 2, a lubricant 8 is heated and evaporated by an air current of its temperature, and as for the vapor of the lubricant concerned 8, dust of the lubricant, etc., a large particle of the lubricant vapor, etc. are removed through a filter 9, only a clean lubricant vapor circulates and fills the inside of the disk containing chamber 5, is stuck acceleratively to the surface of each magnetic disk 2 which is being rotated, and a uniform lubricating film whose film thickness is about 100Angstrom can be formed easily. |
