COMBINATION STRUCTURE OF AIR FLOW METER AND AIR CLEANER

PURPOSE:To maintain high accuracy of measurement over long term, by arranging paths at the suction and delivery sides of an air cleaner element and a path of an air flow meter on same line thereby distributing the flow speed symmetrically with respect to the center of the paths and stabilizing. CONSTITUTION:A heating resistor 1 and a temperature compensation resistor 2 for constituting a sensor element in a heat ray type air flow meter are arranged in a small Venturi 5 while being secured to supporting pins 3, 3' 4, 4' having the other ends connected to an electronic circuitry 8. A sensor section 7 integrated with said electronic circuitry 8 is arranged in the central portion of a duct 9 forming a path for the heat ray type air flow meter. A straightener grid 10 and an axial flow air cleaner element 11 are arranged in the upstream of the duct 9, where they are arranged such that the axis of the element 11 at the suction port 12 side and the outlet side and the axis of the duct 9 are aligned.
