PURPOSE:To reproduce to the refractory body plate having a big nozzle hole by mending the refractory body plate for recovered sliding nozzle with its selection, expanding the diameter of the nozzle hole and reutilizing it as the sliding nozzle corresponding to the diameter thereof. CONSTITUTION:After selecting by the recovery standard, the oxidized part of the refractory body plate 1 for sliding nozzle to be disposed, a local chip 7 and defective weld part A, etc., the ground metal and slag stuck on the surface are removed with pickling. The back face of the refractory body plate is then placed on a plate base 5 and fixed with a vise 6. A cutter bit 4 is then descended with rotating it, the refractory body plate is reversed by cutting a notch, the cutter bit 4 is rotated and the whole face is scooped out with its descending and pouring water. The expanded refractory body plate 1 is subjected to a re-inspection with the standard and after sufficient drying, it is utilized again as the refractory body plate for larger nozzle bore. |
