PURPOSE:To cut a square column if said column enters the inside of the circular track in a traveling part which travels along the circular track enclosing the column irrespectively of the size of the column by using annular bodies coinciding with the circular track. CONSTITUTION:A cutter for a square column has a traveling part 2 which travels along the circular track enclosing a column 10, an arm 3 which is energized and projected into the circular track from the part 2 and a driven part which is provided to the top end thereof and is brought into sliding and rolling contact with the outside circumferential surface 10 by energizing. The traveling part 2 is formed of an annular body coinciding with the circular track thereof and the driven part is of a forked part consisting of a supporting body 5 attached with metallic wheels 4 contacting with the outside circumferential surface of the square column 10 at each top end, a movable body 6 and a holder 8 attached thereto. The holder 8 holds a gas melt cutting device 9. |
