PURPOSE:To detect the level of a powder and granule tank always highly accurately by forming gas injecting ports on the side of the powder and granule tank and injecting gas from small tanks in which gas with a fixed pressure higher than the pressure in the powder and granule tank is sealed to the gas injecting port. CONSTITUTION:The gas injecting ports A, B of A and B levels are formed on the side of the tank 1 separately in the height direction and discharging pipes 11A, 11B of the small tanks 10A, 10B are connected to the gas injection ports A, B respectively. After charging the small tanks 10A, 10B with gas at a fixed pressure, electromagnetic valves 12A, 12B are opened and the gas in the small tanks 10A, 10B is projected from the injecting ports A, B through the discharging pipes 11A, 11B. Thus, detecting accuracy can be always stabilized without wear of a detecting member as compared to the ordinary direct method directly contacting the detecting member to powder and granules in the tank. |
