PURPOSE:To automatically recover a computer system from trouble by writing change information in a condition control table each time when the operating condition of a program is changed and automatically indicating the data recovery operation by the computer system in accordance with information stored in the condition control table when the system is restarted after stopped. CONSTITUTION:If an online program B is abnormally stopped, a status code of 'START B' is set to a condition control table 5 and the processing is terminated in this state. When the computer system is started and an operating condition monitor program 2 is operated to refer to the condition control table 5, it is discriminated that the preceding processing is terminated by abnormal stop of the online program B because contents of the table 5 are 'START B'. The operating condition monitor program 2 starts a file data recovery program B6 for the purpose of recovering the system from trouble due to abnormal stop of the online program B, and recoveres master file data 7 and sets 'START A' to the condition control table 5 to continue a series of program processings 3. |
