摘要 <p>The complete force characteristic of magnetic clamping plate is derived in a relatively short time by placing a blank on the plate for shifting along a test line while the magnetic system is constantly excited. The blank is separated from the plate by a gap which is maintained constant while the blank is linked to the force transducer which indicates the magnetic pull along the points of the test line. The results are recorded. The comparison of point-by point tests with and without field excitation allows one to find a spot of minimum attraction for setting the regime of blanks clamping. The test is carried out withthe blank held parallel to the surface of the magnetic clamping plate, the spacing obtained with a thin packing. The size of the latter depends on the sensitivity of the force transducer connected to the recorder. The derived plot is used for setting the position of blanks on the clamping.
