<p>An axe that preferably is to be used for the splitting of wood. The axe is intended to act in a plane of movement (1), and it includes a bit (2) located in said plane of movement, a head (3) located opposite to the bit, a forward side surface (4) and a backward side surface (5) and blade sides (6, 7) located on each side of the plane of movement (1). On each one of the blade surfaces there is a raised portion (8, 9). The raised portions (8, 9) are placed diagonally in respect to each other, the axe thus being given a shape that is not specularly symmetrical.</p> |
