<p>The phantom (16-24) of the invention is characterized by an assembly of test-tubes (22) filled with a material resonating to the NMR experiment, and positioned at predetermined locations (18). It is demonstrated that by placing the phantom inside an NMR imaging device (1), by making the image (9), and by comparing (15) the image obtained with a theoretical image to the obtained, it is possible to deduce the inhomogeneities of the orientating field of the machine on the one hand, and the inhomogeneities (29) of the gradients of the magnetic field which enable the processing of the image, on the other hand. The measurement information of the inhomogeneity of the orientating field is used to act on means (12-14) for correction of the homogeneity of said field.</p> |
