The invention relates to a holder for electrical components, especially for fuse links for forming a fuse. The holder consists of a housing and of an insert which can be inserted in the housing, against the influence of a spring, with the aid of a bayonet fitting. If the fuse link is absent, there is no spring effect so that the insert (which does not project beyond the end of the housing in the closed position) is very difficult to remove from the housing again. A slot, which is open at the side, is provided for this purpose in the region in front of the mounting board, especially in the region of the collar which is located here, via which slot at least one stud of the bayonet fitting is accessible. If the fuse link is absent, the insert can very easily be pressed out of the housing, on this stud, so far that it is possible to grip it at the end without effort.
