PURPOSE:A drug for inhibiting melanization, containing a placental extract and KOJIC acid or a derivative thereof and used for external therapy of pigmentation, e.g. chloasma, etc. CONSTITUTION:A drug for external use, obtained by containing an aqueous solution prepared by passing a placental of an animal, e.g. human, cattle, etc., through means, e.g. washing, crushing, freezing, etc., extracting a water-soluble substance with water and removing impurities or placental extract essence, particularly preferably human-derived placental extract, and KOJIC acid or a derivative thereof, preferably at 10:3-0.1 ratio by pts.wt. and used for inhibiting melanization. The drug is extremely effective for preventing and treating pigmentation by synergistic effect of the KOJIC acid and placental extract by applying the drug for external use to affected parts. |
