PURPOSE:The titled composition, containing a specific carbamate derivative and N-(alpha,alpha-dimethylbenzyl)-2-bromo-3,3-dimethylbutyramide, etc., as an active ingredient, having a wide optimum treatment period of weeds, safe for transplanted paddy rice and capable of sustaining the effect. CONSTITUTION:A herbicidal composition containing (A) one or two or more of carbamate derivatives expressed by the formula (R1 and R2 are H, halogen, lower alkyl or trifluoromethyl; X is O or S), (B) N-(alpha,alpha-dimethylbenzyl)-2- bromo-3,3-dimethylbutyramide and (C) 4-(2,4-dichloro-3-methylbenzoyl)-1,3- dimethyl-5-(4-methylph-enacyloxy)pyrazole. The amounts of the respective components (B) and (C) are preferably 0.1-10pts.wt. based on 1pt.wt. component (A).
