PURPOSE:To reduce an output error at the time of applying D/A conversion by converting an input code by a prescribed method, then applying D/A conversion to the result. CONSTITUTION:A new code is generated from an external code di according to a prescribed algorithm. In such a case, the input code is subject to code conversion by applying SRT division by '1' or the equivalent obtaining the identical result. Then an input voltage VIN is fetched from an input terminal IN in the sampling state at D/A conversion and an output voltage VOT is sent from an output terminal OT. The control is executed by giving an internal code ai (=1,0,-1) as a control input. Thus, with the input code di changed, the possibility of an error in the least significant digit exists, but other digits are unchanged and a differentiation nonlinear error is minimized. |
