<p>The monitoring device for a control system in a motor vehicle can be advantageously incorporated with the digital components of such a system, in particular a digital signal processing system (43). In this way a saving can be made on component parts and consequently a higher level of reliability can be achieved by checking a circuit for the sequential possibility of signals which arise therein at predetermined moments when this circuit passes cyclically from a normal operating state to a test state.</p> |
