The long fluid reservoir consists of porous compressible material, and has a front face for a writing tip. To form the contact face (3), the front end section (2) is compressed to a size, which is smaller than its main cross section. A hose section of heat-shrinkable foil, is pushed onto the front end section, and is shrunk onto the reservoir. Alternately, a rigid sleeve is used, of a width decreasing towards the front. USE/ADVANTAGE - Pen has writing tip which is not pressed into fluid reservoir, by writing pressure.
