PURPOSE:To surely supervise a tool compensation value so as to input the value in a machining apparatus by reading a bar code put on a tool by means of a bar code scanner, and by displaying the bar code and the compensation value by means of display means, or by sending the code and the value out to a machining apparatus by means of outside output means. CONSTITUTION:In carrying various tools, on which labels are put, to the position where a machine tool is located and a decoder body 12 to the position where a machining apparatus is located, and in storing each tool in a tool magazine 31, the bar code on a label is read by means of a bar code scanner 13, then a control part read out the compensation value, which correspond to the input bar code value, and pot number, and displays it on a display 11. Then, a worker stores the tool in the magazine 31 according to the compensation value and the pot number and inputs the compensation value by maneuvering a manual input part 37. As a result, the compensation value is stored in a compensation memory 36 according to the command of a control part 34 and is input in a machining tool 30. It is thus possible to surely supervise the compensation value of the tool and input the value in a machining apparatus with accuracy. |
