A pressure type automatic pouring furnance is formed with a moltem metal outlet (26,28,30,32) which has an inner end opening (28) at lower elevation than the general portion of the floor of a molten metal chamber (12). Preferably, the molten metal chamber (12) is communicated with a groove type induction heater section at a lower section thereof so that the molten metal in the chamber can be effectively heated. In addition, the bottom wall of the moltem metal outlet (30) is to be declined for a given angle, e.g. 3 DEG with respect to the horizontal plane so as to prevent the molten metal from accumulating within the outlet (32).
