PURPOSE:To prevent a carriage from vibrating by switching an exciting voltage from low to high voltages in an exciting range. CONSTITUTION:A voltage controller 1 controls transistors TRAC, TRBC to control a voltage applied to windings A, A', B, B' of a stepper motor M. An excitation controller 2 controls transistors TRA, TRA', TRB, TRB' according to an exciting sequence. A driver 3 amplifies the output signals of the controllers 1 and 2. The exciting sequence of this case switches the exciting voltage applied to the windings A, A', B, B' of a stepper motor M at every exciting zone from low to high voltage after a predetermined time from the rising time. |
