<p>This contactor (20) for a pedal (10) provided with a rigid soleplate (12) covered by a cover (13) intended to receive a force in order to work it, comprises a first contact stud (231) solidly fixed to the soleplate and a second contact stud (232) which can move between a rest position in which it is away from the first stud and an active position in which it rests against the latter under the action of the force exerted on the cover. This contactor comprises, articulated one with the other near one edge of the soleplate, on the one hand a plinth (21) which is fixed to the soleplate and which receives the first stud and means (223) of returning the second stud and, on the other hand, a cover support (22) which can move between a rest position in which it is held separated from the plinth by return means and by a stop (222) and an active position in which it is applied against the plinth (21) through the force exerted on the cover.
