PURPOSE:To enable pulse enhanced laser beans to be outputted by a method wherein a discharge electrode is provided with a main current circuit and a rise-energizing circuit. CONSTITUTION:Synchronized signals from a modulation command processor 7 are inputted to a simmer modulator 11; a pulse current synchronized with a main current is generated to be overlapped with a reference current lso flowing simmer current Is in a circuit. Likewise, the synchronized signals from modulation command processor 7 are inputted to a main modulator 9 to flow main current IM in pulse wave form in the circuit resultantly flowing composite current IT of currents IS and IM in an anode electrode 3A. This current IT, different from the continuous reference current lso only, sufficiently compensate any temporary decline in the simmer current ls to make the rising up thereof steep. |
