PURPOSE:To achieve a cost reduction with a decrease in the number of parts and the man-hour by mounting a heat shielding plate at an outwardly extended peripheral rim of a fire grate at the upper portion of a wick guide cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A wick guide cylinder 3 is provided to cover a tank 1 in such a manner as to form a space 4 for lifting a flame wick between ventilation cylinders is made up of members 3a-3c. The member 3a is equipped with a fire grate 5 on the top thereof while the peripheral rim of the grate 5 extended outward being bulged by a step. A combustion cylinder 10 of a triple cylinder construction carried on the fire grate of the wick guide cylinder 3 has numerous pores 11 and a heat shielding plate 12 carried on the extended section 5a of the fire grate 5 fixed by a proper means such as welding. A rib 13 is protruded on the side of the extended section 5a of the heat shielding plate 12 to from a slight space 14 allowing the passage of air with the extended section 5a. This achieves a reduction in the cost. |
