PURPOSE:To make it possible to easily line a sheet of film to the back of a formed product by such an arrangement wherein an intermedite plate having an opening of which area is slightly smaller than that of a cavity mold is arranged at the parting surface of the cavity mold at which it is parted from a core mold. CONSTITUTION:A set of molds is composed of a cavity mold 1, a core mold 2 and an intermediate plate 3 having an opening 3' of which area is slightly smaller than that 1' of said cavity mold coupled with said core mold. In the case of injection molding, the shape of the back of a product is generally more complicated than that of the front of the product, therefore, the mold separating resistance of metal mold is larger at the side of a core mold and a formed product tends to stick to the core mold when molds are opened, and said intermediate plate 3 is provided to temporarily fix the formed product to said cavity mold 1. |
