<p>PURPOSE:To suitably load on an automobile having a small loading space by housing a clutch mechanism in the gear case of a planetary gear and making a device a reduction gear having a small-size clutch mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A reduction gear 1 is formed in a planetary gear mechanism, an input shaft 2 is a power input shaft from a motor, and a planetary gear 7 is meshed with a gear 6. An outer case consists of gear cases 18, 19, and the gear case 19 is made of a magnetic material and the exciting coil 20 of a clutch mechanism is embedded in it, a movable ring 22 made of a magnetic material is provided opposite to the coil 20, and a pin 23 is supported by a ring gear 8. And, a power transmitted from the motor to the input shaft 2 is transmitted to the planetary gear 7 via the gear 6, and further to the ring gear 8. When the coil 20 is being excited, the ring 22 is attracted to the case 19 side and fixed, the rotation of the gear 8 is restrained, the gear 7 is revolved, and the output shaft 13 which is integrally formed with the shaft 9 is rotated.</p> |
