PURPOSE:To hold down the number of devices to required minimum and to improve the reliability by adopting the computer multiplexing system where devices are used for data exchange and trouble detection normally and are used as input/ output controllers at a trouble time. CONSTITUTION:When both computer systems with operation processing devices A and B as centers are in the normal state, a device a7 is operated under the control of an input/output controller b4 and a device b7 is operated under the control of an input/output controller a4. Operation states of individual computer systems are monitored and troubles of them are detected through devices a7 and b7. If the computer system with the operation processing device B as the center is faulty, the operation processing device A detects the trouble through the device a7 and issues a command for switching of the operation mode of the device a7. Hereafter, the device a7 is operated as an input/output controller, and input/ output devices b1- b3 are operated by the control of the operation processing device A. |
