<p>PURPOSE:To mount tape cassettes different in size by providing a rotatable cassette insertion guide member, a rotatable cassette detecting member and a connecting member engaged respectively with the guide and the cassette detecting member. CONSTITUTION:When a large size cassette 32 is inserted into a cassette device, the front surface of the large size cassette 32 abuts on a detection pin 26 at a certain position. When the cassette 32 is further pushed to a direction shown by an arrow D, the cassette detecting member 25 rotates in a direction shown by an arrow E centering a shaft 24, and the connecting member 28 engaged with a connection pin 27 moves in a direction shown by an arrow F along a guide groove 22a against a spring force. When the amount of the movement of the large size cassette 32 in the direction shown by the arrow D is increased, the amount of the rotation of the cassette detecting member 25 in the direction shown by the arrow E is increased, the detection pin 26 is deviated from the front surface of the large size cassette 32 at the certain time and moved to the outside of a side surface and the large size cassette 32 is moved to the direction shown by the arrow D without moving the detection pin 26. Thereby, the cassettes different in size can be inserted into the prescribed position without using an adapter.</p> |
