<p>The table-top toaster consists of: a wire base (5) on the front of which there are five apertures (4) on which an equal number of wire skewers are placed. Inside the base of the aperture (3) there is a wire grill which fastens with a spring-like device. The cover of the apparatus (a) is made from a stainless steel iron-plate through to the top part which is of crystal "Pyrex" for the baking of food. There is a wire stand that has five feet for supporting the apparatus on the table during baking. It contains electrical resistance placed inside the cover of the device that is fed with power through a suitably insulated socket (11). The construction of the table-top toaster has the advantage of combining the cooking of food on both the grill and on the skewer.</p> |
