The catalyst for the conversion of water gas with water vapour and for the production of hydrogen in the high temperature phase, registration of which is requested, is a mixed oxide Fe2-O3-Fe3O4-NiO with a proportion of nickelium 12,5 percent in Ni atoms in relation to metal atoms, which is converted in the conversion reactor from water gas (CO+H2) into Fe3O4-Nio, and is produced in the following manner: From mixture of aqueous solutions of salts FeCl2 and FeCl3 in a proportion of FeCl2/Fecl3=1/2, and NiCl2 in the appropriate proportion of concentrations 1M in metal, mixture of metal hydroxides is precipitated with aqueous solution NaOH 3M at 70 degrees C with strong stirring until pH=8. The sediment is repeatedly washed out with pourings of the overlaying liquid also during filtration until the Cl- is completely removed. Then, the sediment is dried at 120 degrees C, is calcinated at 500 degrees C in order to convert the hydroxides to oxides and is formed in cylinders with a binder of 1 percent graphite. Said catalyst following conversion in the conversion reactor with the normal water gas flow of its operation (CO:H2:H2O=1:1:4) with space velocity 2800 l/l/h (in dry base) at 300 degrees C for 20 hours achieves conversion of approximately 90 percent at 380 degrees C (with balance conversion 95,7 percent).
|
