<p>The purpose of this invention is the construction of an orthopaedic mattress with an air-conditioning mechanism that supplies warm or cool air between the mattress and covers of the person lying down. The main features of the orthopaedic mattress are the air conditioning mechanism (7) composed of a centrifugal fan with electric resistance for the production of warm air, or cool air in the summer, the air-duct (8) from which the warm air passes and enters the interior empty space (17) the mattress and the air-ducts (9) that are fitted under the cover (10) of the mattress, through which the warm air is transmitted to the upper surface of the mattress.
