PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body having improved sensitivity and endurance stability by incorporating an indole compd. shown by a specific formula to an electric charge transfer substance of the titled body which is functionally separated the photosensitive layer to an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive layer of the titled body is functionally separated to the electric charge generating layer and the electric charge transfer layer. The electric charge transfer layer is formed by dissolving the following indole compd. and a binder in an appropriate solvent, followed by coating a substrate with a coating solution, and drying it. Said indole compd. is the compd. shown by the formula wherein R1 and R2 are each hydrogen atom or alkyl, aryl or aralkyl group which may be substd., R3 is hydrogen atom or alkyl or aralkyl group which may be substd., Ar1 and Ar2 are each hydrogen atom or alkyl, aryl an a heterocyclic aralkyl group which may be substd., or a residue shown by formula Ar1-C-Ar2 which is capable of forming 5-6 membered ring together with a center carbon atom. Thus, the titled body having the high sensitivity and the excellent endurance stability is obtd. |
