PURPOSE:To improve productivity of the titled body by using a coating solution dispersed an electric charge generating pigment in a polyvinylbutyral resin solution, and by controlling the obtd. coating solution to 5-20% nonvolatile matter concn., and also a lifting rate of the substrate to be coated, to 5-40cm/ min, thereby dip coating the titled body. CONSTITUTION:In order to disperse the electric charge generating pigment into the polyvinylbutyral (PVB) solution, followed by forming the electric charge generating layer having 0.5-5mum film thickness by dip coating the substrate to be coated, the nonvolatile matter concn. of the coating solution is controlled to 5-20%, and the lifting rate of the substrate to be coated is controlled to 5-40cm/min. As the method for dispersing the electric charge generating pigment into a PVB solution, a ball mill and a roll mill, etc., are used. The solvent used to dispersion, is exemplified by an alcohol such as preferably, propanol and butanol, etc. Thus, the electric charge generating layer having 0.5-5mum thickness is formed effectively and stably, thereby improving the productivity of the titled body. |
