PURPOSE:To reduce the image shift of an editing copy by constituting the titled device so that the driving of a photosensitive body is stopped until an exposure scan reaches a designated area, and the photosensitive body is driven, when the exposure scan reaches the designated area. CONSTITUTION:A timing pulse is generated by a rotary slit plate 65 and a photosensor 66 connected to a main motor 47. This timing pulse is utilized as a scan synchronizing pulse, when an automatic original feeding device 2 is brought to scan driving, and utilized as a belt synchronizing pulse, when a belt 15 is driven. That is to say, at the time of an exposure scan, the timing pulse is counted up by a counter from the time point of starting a scan, this count value is compared with the area boundary data of an image extracting area or an erasing area, and when they have conformed, a control for an area extraction or an area erasion is executed by a microprocessor. Accordingly, in one copy image forming area of a photosensitive body, a designated area on an original forming area of a photosensitive body, a designated area on an original is formed successively, and the image shift of the editing copy can be reduced. |
