PURPOSE:To integrally and efficiently convert the sunlight to electric energy in three ranges divided according to wavelength by the combinational construction of a fluorescence type condenser plate and a solar cell. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous solar cell, 3 for example, is provided on a fluorescence type condenser plate 1 and solar energy on the side of shorter wavelengths is converted to electric power. Then, the sunlight (chiefly a medium wave band) transmitted through the solar cell is incident on the fluorcescence type condenser plate 1 and absorbed and radiated by fluorescent coloring matters 2. Thus, the medium wave band is shifted to a shorter wave band to be incident on a crystal type solar cell 4 and converted to electric power. On the other hand, the sunlight (chiefly a long wave band) transmitted through the condenser plate 1 is incident on a compound semiconductor solar cell 5 provided under the fluorescence type condenser plate 1 and converted to electric power. Thus, since solar energy is converted to electric power in three different ranges divided according to wavelength, solar energy can be efficiently converted to electric power. |
