PURPOSE:To enable hot water in a bath tube to be supplementarily heated by providing a supplemental heating recirculation passage that forcibly recirculates the hot water in the bath tube by a bath pump, a heat absorbing coil in said recirculation passage and a heat exchanger for supplemental heating that heats said heat absorbing coil by hot water in the hot water recirculation passage. CONSTITUTION:When supplemental heating of bath tub water 27 is to be performed, a bath pump 18 is started according to the supplemental heating starting procedures, and at the same time, in case where room heating is not being performed, hot water is recirculated in a hot water recirculation passage 5 by operating a recirculation pump 3 etc. At the same time, an electric valve 12 is opened to circulate the water through a heat exchanger 4 to a bypass passage 11 to a reservoir tank 2 to the recirculation pump 3 back to the heat exchanger 4, and the bath tub water 27 is circulated through a water inlet 15 to a heat absorbing coil 16 to the bath pump 18 to a water outlet 19 in order to supplementarily heat the bath tub water 27 through the heat absorbing coil 16. In this arrangement, there is no need to have a heat exchanger for supplemental heating and a burner to heat it, and the device can be easily fitted to conventional room heaters and space heaters having a hot water delivery unit. |
